ARE YOU ALREADY THE PERSON YOU WANT?
Share
We often question whether the people around us meet our expectations, and based on that, we are happy or disappointed. Most of the feelings we manifest in our lives (and that we have to face) result from taking almost everything that happens personally. Everything changes when you turn the focus.
Asking yourself those questions we enjoy asking about others is a crucial step to living a happy life. If the day has already come in your life when you understand that nothing is personal and that each person's actions reflect their inner world, then congratulations! Freeing yourself from this great weight allows you to look elsewhere, inward. And the results of this process, when done responsibly and with love, are truly fascinating.
This is the question: Are you the human being you wish to be?
How we carry out these reflections and analyses of our being does not follow a protocol. Each person does it their own way, according to their needs and mode of being. It is a fascinating reminder that each head is a whole universe.
However, within that protocol, some pillars are preserved: we ask ourselves: Who am I? Am I the kind of person I would enjoy spending my time with? If I had a magic wand and could become right now the person I want, what would be the characteristics of that person?
Maybe there is no such magic wand as we would like, but it is possible. When you have that clear, you immediately begin to evaluate the person you are today, with their habits and beliefs, and look for correspondence. If something is not consistent with that idea of an improved "I" in the future, you will need to make other decisions for your daily life that are. Of course, realizing these "incongruent" aspects and making these decisions of change with responsibility imply exploring that inner world in the most conscious way we believe possible.
Working on our inner world, spirituality, and beliefs can completely transform the meaning we give each day. Making each day an opportunity to get closer to that conscious ideal of our being that we have built (and continue to build because it will inevitably undergo modifications) makes us recover the illusion of even the most minor things.
In short, pay more attention to your inner light, and see how the outer darkness disappears. Pay more attention to the decisions that depend on you instead of continually observing the decisions of others. They, like you, are in their way of searching.
Focus on being the human you would like to populate this world. Transformation begins with you.
